Application of the GAOS MS-20-7 mass spectrometer in geology:

• logging of mud gas for prospecting and technological drilling for oil and gas;

• gas surveys (hydrocarbons, carbon dioxide, sulfur gases, helium, hydrogen, etc.) by searching for oil, gas and ore deposits to identify promising areas and reduce exploration drilling costs;

• analysis of fluid inclusions in the sample of solid rock, isotope analysis of gases during geochemical studies, ultra-deep drilling.

Good correlation between laboratory data and LIBS results and low analytical errors provide good possibilities for implementation of the LIOS OnLine system to perform on-line, real-time measurement of Flotation Feed, fulfilling the Customer’s analytical requirements.

In addition to LIBS analysis, the accuracy calculation also includes an error, derived from sampling, splitting and lab analytical error.

Implementation of on-line LIBS analysis will allow controlling the product quality in real time, every several minutes and not once in several hours.
